An unusual start to the weekend I arrived at Rhosneigr to find Pam & Pete already there so it looked like I was in for a lot of pampering and all started well

 

Then it was off for doggy paddle lessons, I'm starting to enjoy this especially when it's hot, I've now progressed to level 2 which is for diving

Day two

Steve and Jackie have gone home now, and the weather has changed a little so we went for a spin on the Harley up to Petes burger bar

Sausage for the dog and chips for Pete

We then had a walk to burn it off and head for the beach for a dig and chill

 

Pete was moaning and groaning all the way saying every muscle in his body hurt after yesterday's attempt at water skiing

Old man can't hack it

 

He did recover enough to give me some pampering back at the apartment after he had cooked me my tea ( dog biscuits covered with some mince meat and juice ) yum yum I eat the lot without coming up for air

You can't beat a good pedicure

Looking good now

 

I had a quick flick through my dog cook book and think I will have Pippa's pasta plate tomorrow

See I can eat healthy

 

Day 3

Had another busy day, we went to holyhead country park for a walk along the breakwater then up to the lighthouse

I was looking forward to dining at Petes burglar bar again but had to settle for dining alfresco

Hmm where's the sausage

I see Pete's on chicken

I was goosed when I got back and couldn't wait to get back to the bike

I think Pam's gone camera shy or got smelly arm pits

I was still dogged out when we got back so just flaked out on the couch

Can't wait for bedtime

 

Day 4

Had a good day today we went to Anglesey show

Hmm some good smells coming from that bum

Didn't want to sit here to long I may get stuffed like this dog

Dinner time was fantastic Pete had hog roast, after he took me back to Hoover up the bits of meat the people had dropped ( he reckoned I had more than he had and it cost him £5.00 )

Hmm the smells were lovely, I could live hear

Life time supply of sausage's

I dined alfresco on the beach tonight which was ok but I can't get dinner time out of my head and want to go back tomorrow

There's more to life than biscuits

 

Day 5

Boring day today just cleaned the apartment and headed back home in pouring rain, them two were like two drowned rats. I was bone dry in my Charlie pad and enjoyed every minute of the ride, Pete did stop at Mc Donald's for chips but had to eat them on the dog shelf with me.

I did get a chip and a bit of potted beef butty ( not a patch on yesterday )

Thursday/Friday 17.08.12

It's back to work ( boring boring ) I can't wait for my next holiday at Anglesey

I might as well have a dog nap and dream of hog roast ( yum yum )

Come on Pete take us for a spin

 

Saturday 18.08.12

I forgot to mention I had to have a bath on Friday as I humdinged, I give Pete his due he is thorough he even uses a tooth brush to clean my fiddley bits.

I see the tennis balls are nearly ready

I believe Steve is back tomorrow and Pam and Pete are rushing round gathering all my stuff, and haven't got time to give me a proper bath

Bit of a come down from my last bath

Well what do you think! That Steven and Jackie have buggered off to the south of France and left me with the Nutters.

Charlie wish you were here

I wouldn't mind but he had promised to take me to Rhosneigr to chill and dig on the beach, I think I've had a woof deal and will accidentally have a poo on his drawings when he gets back.

Anyway Petes made me a nice new dog kennel with a nice padded bed and Pams knitted me a nice blanket for it, Only thing is it fits on the back of his Harley.

I've already had a few short trips and can already lean into the corners and give paw signals when he wants me to, I'm now looking forward to going to Rhosneigr which is better than an empty promise from Steven.

Actually it's quite comfy and happy to sit in it during the day when I'm ready for my afternoon nap

They took me to Stalybridge Bike show on Sunday and entered the mobile dog kennel but it didn't even get a look in ( The Judges must have been cat lovers ) however I got a lot of attention and found a nice handbag to chill on

Wake me up at home time

Hey dad I could get use to working mornings only, I get to play in his garden every afternoon and guess what I discovered today! Balls grow on trees these are a bit small so I think I will let then grow more.

Weather is looking good for tomorrow so looks like we're going to work on the Harley.

Anyway I'm off to bed now so we will have to see what tomorrow brings night night

Yep I was right lovely day had a good play at dinner time then back home on the Harley to have a chill in Pam & Petes garden

 

I'm feeling a bit sad now as Its my last day with the Pam & Pete and will have to wait until August for my next doggy adventure so please look out for my next Dog Blog

1 Introduction

Woof Woof My Name is Charlie Brown and I am a 2 year old American Cocker Spaniel and live with Steven and Jackie Brown.

Life is pretty boring with the same old routine of going to work and the occasional play ball at dinner time or the odd walk at weekend if it suits them.

Plans plans and more plans and not even a dog kennel in sight

 

I also have a best friend called Ben who took me to a dog show last week at Cheetham's park in Stalybridge and he won 1st prize for junior dog handler ( with a little Help from me.)

I also get to stay with Pam and Pete now and then ( Steve's Mum and Dad ) "They're a bit Nutty but they really know how a proper dog should be looked after".

This is why I have set up My own Charlie Blog to show Steve and other dog owners know where they're going wrong.

Steven and you other dog owners please take note!

I can be be very useful around the kitchen for example I keep a close eye on the oven to make sure everything is cooked to perfection and woof when its ready

I also help with the washing up and must say baking trays are my speciality they don't even need to be soaked and are clean enough to go straight back in the drawer when I've finished.

 

 

Who needs a dishwasher when you have me

In return they cook me my own meal instead of them boring biscuits I get day in day out which gives me stiff poo's ( Steve you carn't beat a sloppy one now and then )

Then prior to bed its nice to have a night cap before I settle in for the night

I think I'll have a thumper in the morning

 

Then its off to bed for a good nights kip ( which is better than that smelly basket Any day ) ps bed time story was Lady and the Tramp, now she's my kind of dog only thing is that Steven had my bits chopped off so I would'nt be able to get up to much.

 

Hmm doggy heaven

However there is a bad side to the nutters ( just take a look at this hair cut I had )

I think he must have been a punk rocker in his youth

Talk about a bad hair day

 

Anyway all in all I do have a good time with them so please look out for my next Dog Blog so you can see what they get up to.
